This very unusual BSA Gold Star tribute is based on a Japanese Domestic Market Kawasaki Bj250-D Estrella Custom, a model that originally took much of its inspiration and styling from the legendary BSA DBD Gold Star range.
The previous owner has done a remarkable job of transforming this electric-start 250cc Kawasaki from 1997 into a convincing Gold Star recreation. Key details include a chromed and painted fuel tank, a seat sourced from a Gold Star, and the use of Smiths Instruments speedometer and rev counter.Â
The result is a motorcycle that effortlessly captures the look and presence of a classic British cult bike, while benefiting from renowned Japanese reliability and ease of use.Â
