1981 Laverda 1000 “Jota” Series 2 (180)
It was manufactured in 1981 and dispatched from the Breganze factory to Slater Brothers of Bromyard, Herefordshire.
Slater Brothers were both the importers and a dealer.
They are the legendary brothers that developed the “Jota” into the world’s fastest production motorcycle of the period, capable of nearly 140mph on a good day.
They persuaded the factory to add high-compression pistons, racing camshafts and a free-flow exhaust system.
This one is finished in “Breganze Arancio” …or orange if you’re from ‘t North.
It has been part of a significant collection for the best part of 20 years, and we have recently re-commissioned it.
New oils and fluids. New NGK Iridium spark plugs. New battery. New fuel lines.
She is on the button and ready to thrill once again.
UK and worldwide delivery options are available.Â
