1969 Kawasaki A1 250 S.S. ‘Street Scrambler’

1969 Kawasaki A1 250 S.S. ‘Street Scrambler’

A rare sight in the UK, this 1969 Kawasaki A1 250 S.S. ‘Street Scrambler’ was a technological marvel of its time.

With its 247cc, 31BHP twin-cylinder, rotary disc valve induction, two-stroke engine, it could outperform most motorcycles of the era – including some up to 650cc – all housed in a relatively lightweight frame.

A best-seller in the American market, this particular example spent its life in Askov, Pine County, Minnesota (population 364) before making its way to the UK.

Between 2017 and 2020, it underwent a total nut-and-bolt restoration, returning it to as-new condition. Now road registered in the UK, it carries the registration mark RCD 629G.

Visually striking, it features the distinctive high-level ‘Street Scrambler’ exhaust system, adding to its commanding presence.

Whether in a collection or on the road, this Kawasaki is guaranteed to turn heads wherever it goes.

Viewing is essential to appreciate this rare and beautifully restored machine.

UK and worldwide delivery options are available.
