This exceptional SS100 was the winner of the 2011 Baragwanath Cup for the best SS100 JAP at the Brough Superior Club Annual Rally – a testament to its outstanding condition and authenticity.
At the heart of this machine is the 981cc KTOR OHV 50-degree V-Twin, built by J.A. Prestwich, renowned for producing the finest engines of the era. Enhancing its performance further is the Binks variable venturi mousetrap carburettor, a sophisticated upgrade for its time.
Originally supplied and first registered by The Layton Garage of Oxford on 9th December 1925, this SS100 also features a Bahne Bonniksen speedometer, crafted by the Danish-born horologist and instrument maker – an exquisite detail that elevates the bike’s elegance.
The KTOR-engined Brough Superiors are widely regarded as the most stunning motorcycles of their period – industrial art at its absolute peak.
