Legend has it that a disagreement between father and son led George Brough to leave the family business, declaring, ‘I am starting my own motorcycle company, and I shall call them Brough… Brough Superior… as they will be superior to yours.’
Founded in Nottingham, England, in 1919, George Brough’s Brough Superior motorcycles quickly earned the nickname ‘The Rolls-Royce of Motorcycles.’
Renowned for their unparalleled craftsmanship, luxury, and performance, these machines were produced until 1940 and became the gold standard of their time.
