1973 CZ 250cc MOTO CROSS.
CZ or Ceska Zbrrojovka as it was originally known when it started production of firearms before the first world war.
It wasn't until after the second world war that they started producing bicycles and then moving onto motorcycles.
CZ were incredibly successful in the world of moto cross, winning 6 world championships, back to back and a staggering 15 International Six Day Trials.
The 1973 CZ we offer for sale is in outstanding condition having had a complete nut and bolt restoration. It retains every single standard part as it did when it left the factory 50 years ago, even the rare Jikov carburator, usually replaced with a superior brand. The standard expansion chamber is still fitted. In 1973 the CZ featured a 5 speed gearbox and a twin plug cylinder head, unheard of back then. This is a very rare and very original CZ 250cc.
