1959 BMW R69 VELOCITY BABY SPRINT/DRAG SPECIAL.
This BMW R69 started life as a very humble 600cc with around 35bhp. What it has been transformed into can only be described as a work of art.
Velocity Baby as it is know, has an amazing following having competed in some of the biggest events in Europe, Montlhery in France and Glemseck in Germany. An invitation to The Bike Shed soon followed where it took pride of place with a variety of the most famous custom builds, a true credit to Velocity Baby's creator.
Built over a period of 18 months by Shed Hot Customs in Southampton, with help from some of the country's leading engine tuners Velocity Baby is now a 1000cc and producing 3 times its original horsepower figure, very impressive !!!
The attention to detail is amazing, the workmanship is outstanding. A true work of art or a very competitive competition bike, your choice ? There is a complete photographic history of the entire build, also copies of the leading publications that Velocity Baby has featured in.
